Family-friendly fun for the entire group returns with Kids’ Weekends at BuschGardens Tampa Bay, which runs from January 25 through February 9.

Families are invited to a celebration of friendship and fun. Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends return to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay from January 25 to February 9. Families can join their favorite Sesame Street friends. This includes Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and Big Bird. More friends will be there for fun-filled weekends every Saturday and Sunday.
Each weekend of the event, families can enjoy the Sesame Street pirate theme. Activities include story time and interactive dance parties. There are also arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, and the all-new show Elmo and the Bookaneers! Pirate-themed Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends will occur on January 25–26, February 1–2, and February 8–9.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay 2025 Preschool Cards

For a limited time, Florida families can also register for a 2025 Preschool Card. This card grants children under the age of five free admission to Busch Gardens Tampa Bayand Adventure Island Water Park. Registration is exclusive to Florida residents for free and only available online through Feb. 3. Guests can visit BuschGardensTampa.com to purchase tickets and learn more.
Busch Gardens Mardi Gras

Guests visiting for Kids’ Weekend can also enjoy the festive fun of Mardi Gras at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This event involves a parade, family-friendly bead throwing, festival food, and bands. We visited and tried some Mardi Gras food for a Taste Test.
Guests looking for more family-friendly theme park fun can visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s sister theme park, SeaWorld Orlando. That theme park is holding Kids Weekend and Elmo’s Birthday Bash. Also, do not forget about the Seven Seas Food Festival coming up later this month at SeaWorld Orlando. Vacationeers Podcast will have coverage of that event from its opening night, January 31.
