Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is loading August 2026 with an unusually large collection of Annual Pass Member rewards, including multiple free guest-ticket offers, up to $50 in Busch Bucks across separate redemption periods, discounted Howl-O-Scream tickets, complimentary food and drinks, Quick Queue vouchers and exclusive ride time during Kumba’s final operating weekend.

Adventure Island has also posted its current August rewards, including free weekday guest tickets, discounted admission and several rounds of Island Bucks.

Here is everything currently announced for August 2026.

Kumba Pass Member Exclusive Ride Time

Date: Saturday, August 1
Time: 8–11 a.m.

Busch Gardens Pass Members can begin Kumba’s final weekend with three hours of exclusive ride time.

The coaster will open to Pass Members beginning at 8 a.m., providing one last opportunity to experience the attraction before the park opens to regular guests.

Kumba is scheduled to close permanently after operating on Sunday, August 2. The coaster debuted in 1993 and has operated at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for 33 years.

Pass Members should expect a large turnout. Arriving well before the 8 a.m. start would be wise, because “exclusive” does not necessarily mean “empty.”

Bonus Free Guest Ticket

Dates: August 1–31

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Pass Members receive one complimentary guest ticket during August.

The Pass Member must generally be present when the guest enters the park. Members should redeem the ticket only when they are ready to use it and verify any same-day-use restrictions through the Pass Member Portal or an in-park kiosk.

Two Additional Free Friend Tickets

Dates: August 1–9

Pass Members also receive two bonus Friend for Free tickets during the first nine days of August.

The tickets may be used at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, SeaWorld Orlando or Aquatica Orlando, subject to the offer’s eligibility requirements.

Combined with the separate month-long free guest-ticket offer, some Pass Members may see as many as three complimentary tickets available during this period. Members should check their accounts to confirm that the offers can be redeemed separately and determine which parks are available under their particular pass.

Free Guest Ticket for Fun Card Holders

Dates: August 1–9

Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Fun Card holders receive one bonus free guest ticket.

The ticket may be used at either Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or Adventure Island, based on the holder’s park of membership.

Free Bier Fest Brews & BBQ Sample

Dates: July 31–August 2

All Busch Gardens Pass Members can receive one complimentary Bier Fest Brews & BBQ food or beverage sample during Kumba’s final weekend.

The voucher is valid only during scheduled Bier Fest Brews & BBQ event days. Members should print it from an in-park self-service kiosk and redeem it at a participating festival location.

Pass Member Bier Fest Brews & BBQ Sampler

Dates: August 1–31

Pass Members can purchase an exclusive 10-sample Bier Fest Brews & BBQ lanyard for the same price regular guests pay for an eight-sample lanyard.

The lanyard may be used only during Bier Fest event days. The festival runs Saturdays and Sundays, plus Labor Day, through September 7 and features more than 70 craft beers and cocktails alongside over 20 BBQ dishes.

Free Beer Ends August 9

Busch Gardens Pass Members age 21 or older can receive two complimentary seven-ounce draft beers per visit through August 9.

The beers are available at Overlook Taproom inside Serengeti Overlook beginning at 11 a.m. Service ends 90 minutes before the park closes and remains subject to availability.

Pass Members must show an active Annual Pass and valid identification.

Passport to Summer Finale

Dates: Through August 9

The Busch Gardens Passport to Summer program concludes on August 9.

Pass Members who have been collecting qualifying visits should make sure they print and retain their final vouchers. Passport rewards are redeemable through Pass Member Landing or Guest Relations.

Busch Bucks Rewards

Busch Gardens is offering several separate Busch Bucks redemption periods during August.

$20 in Busch Bucks

Dates: August 3–16

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Pass Members can receive $20 in Busch Bucks to spend on qualifying purchases throughout the park.

Another $20 in Busch Bucks

Dates: August 17–23

A second $20 Busch Bucks reward will be available during the following week.

$10 in Busch Bucks

Dates: August 24–31

Pass Members can receive another $10 in Busch Bucks during the final eight days of August.

Pass Members who redeem all three separate offers could potentially receive $50 in Busch Bucks during August.

Members should print each voucher during its corresponding redemption period. Spending vouchers are commonly valid only on the day they are printed, so read the printed terms before leaving the kiosk.

Fun Card Busch Bucks

Fun Card holders have three separate $5 Busch Bucks offers:

That provides Fun Card holders with the opportunity to receive up to $15 in Busch Bucks during the month.

Free Lory Landing Feeding

Dates: August 10–16

Pass Members can receive one complimentary feeding dish at Lory Landing.

Print the feeding voucher from a self-service kiosk and redeem it at the attraction. The offer is subject to operating schedules, animal participation and availability.

Free Poncho Ball Keychain

Dates: August 10–31

Pass Members can pick up a complimentary poncho packed inside a small ball-shaped keychain.

The gift will be distributed at Abby Cadabby’s Treasure Hut while supplies last. Members should expect popular free merchandise to disappear quickly, because Pass Members can detect a complimentary keychain from approximately three counties away.

Passport to Screams

The Busch Gardens monthly rewards page currently lists Passport to Screams as running August 10–30.

A separate Passport to Screams page currently lists the following weekly rewards:

• August 11–17: Free Howl-O-Scream churro or popcorn
• August 18–24: $10 in Howl-O-Scream Busch Bucks
• August 25–31: Free one-time Howl-O-Scream Quick Queue for a participating house or coaster

However, the dedicated page conflicts with the monthly rewards calendar and still contains references to 2025 event dates. Pass Members should treat its weekly schedule as provisional until Busch Gardens corrects or clarifies the information.

Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event. A regular Busch Gardens Annual Pass does not include event admission.

National Roller Coaster Day Cheetah Hunt 5K Challenge

Busch Gardens is advertising a Cheetah Hunt 5K Challenge for National Roller Coaster Day.

Pass Members will receive the first opportunity to register, and capacity will be limited. Additional registration details should be reviewed through the Pass Member Portal before making plans.

Busch Gardens is also promoting other National Roller Coaster Day activities, including a coaster challenge with a commemorative lanyard, a discounted coaster-enthusiast picnic and discounted ride photos. The park’s public event page contains some inconsistent or outdated dates, so verify the final schedule directly before attending.

Discounted Howl-O-Scream Tickets

Pass Members can purchase Howl-O-Scream Any Night tickets for $31 each when purchasing at least two tickets.

Platinum Pass Members can also receive $10 off a qualifying merchandise transaction of $50 or more.

Adventure Island’s rewards page states that only one Island Bucks voucher may be used per transaction and that the voucher is valid only on the day it is redeemed.
