SeaWorld Orlando is turning up the fright with the return of the Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run, back for its second year on Thursday, October 2, 2025. As the sun sets and darkness descends, runners will dash past haunted coasters, sinister scare zones, and lurking creatures in this one-of-a-kind nighttime run.
The Howl-O-Sprint 5K is more than just a race — it’s a full Halloween experience. With eerie atmospheres and terror around every corner, every step feels like a fight-or-flight sprint to the finish line. Once runners cross that line, the celebration continues with an exclusive post-race party featuring food, drinks, entertainment, and even access to one of this year’s all-new haunted houses.
Registration Options & Pricing
- Standard Registration: $85 through Sept. 13 ($90 after Sept. 14, $100 on race day if available).
- Annual Passholders: $66.66 through Sept. 13 ($85 after Sept. 14, $95 on race day if available).
- Virtual Race: $100, includes shirt, bib, and medal shipped within the U.S. (registration ends Oct. 1).
- Spectator Party Ticket: $25, limited to 500, includes access to the finish line party until 11:00 p.m.
All registrations include free race day parking, a commemorative race shirt, and a custom finisher medal.
Race Night Schedule
- 6:00 p.m. – Parking lot opens
- 6:30 p.m. – Registration and packet pickup
- 7:30 p.m. – Parking lot closes
- 8:00 p.m. – Race begins
- 8:30 p.m. – Post-race party kicks off
- 9:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony at Scorchline Bar
- 11:00 p.m. – Event ends

Every paid participant receives a finisher medal, and the top three overall male and female runners will snag special prizes:
