The roller coaster, SandSerpent, will be retired by Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to be replaced with a new addition. Guests have only a few weeks left to ride this roller coaster.

SandSerpent, one of the ten roller coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, will be retired to make way for an exciting new addition to the park’s Pantopia area. After 19 years of family-friendly fun, guests will have the chance to ride the popular five-story-tall roller coaster one last time before it closes forever.
The final day of operation for SandSerpent will be July 9. That leaves guests less than a month to enjoy this coaster one last time. Annual Pass Members will also receive exclusive early morning access to ride SandSerpent from June 30 through July 4.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers 300 acres of attractions based on exotic explorations around the world. Busch Gardens combines thrilling rides, an AZA accredited zoo with thousands of animals representing more than 200 species/ IN addition, it also offers several seasonal events.
SandSerpent
SandSerpent features family-friendly turns, drops, and wild mouse maneuvers. This coaster serves as a good intermediate coaster in comparison to some of the fiercer coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
SandSerpent will be replaced with something new in the Pantopia area of Busch Gardens. At this time, no official announcement has been made about the next attraction in this area. However, we suspect that Busch Gardens will announce the next phase soon. Thus, we should see construction in the coming months.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay currently offers Summer Nights. This allows visitors to enjoy later hours each evening for more chances to ride this coaster and others. Summer Nights, included with park admission, also involve fireworks on select nights and several special entertainment offerings.
