Santa Claus, Indiana – June 16, 2025 — The skies over Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari are about to get even more dazzling. The award-winning Holidays in the Sky nighttime drone and fireworks spectacular returns for the 2025 season—this time with a record 500 synchronized drones, some of which will now carry pyrotechnics for new mid-air firework effects.
Running nightly from Saturday, June 21 through Sunday, August 3, this 44-night run promises to be the most spectacular yet, thanks to expanded drone choreography and two thrilling new pyro-moments: a lightning strike over a haunted house and a fireworks-enhanced rocket launch simulation created entirely with drone formations.
🎶 New Song, Same Holiday Spirit
In a nod to Thanksgiving fun, this year’s show includes a brand-new parody song, “Pour Some Gravy on Me”—a reimagining of Def Leppard’s classic hit. The track, performed by Indiana’s Happy New Month Band, is just the right amount of silly, featuring a gravy-drenched music video that can be enjoyed in full on Holiday World’s YouTube channel.

🎡 Theme Park Fun by Day, Sky Spectacle by Night
Now in its fourth season, Holidays in the Sky has become a must-see event, earning accolades for innovation in themed entertainment. As always, the show is included with park admission, and it begins nightly (weather permitting) at 8:50 p.m.
Holiday World, crowned Best Theme Park of 2024 by HomeToGo, is home to the celebrated Good Gravy! Family Coaster, and Splashin’ Safari remains the Water Coaster Capital of the World with three world-renowned water coasters.
