The mind-bending attraction debuts new Sin City-inspired illusions and extended hours to keep the fun going all summer long.
Las Vegas is a city known for dazzling lights, surreal experiences, and unforgettable attractions—and the Museum of Illusions Las Vegas is doubling down on all three this summer. The internationally renowned museum has just unveiled redesigned versions of four of its most popular exhibits: the Ames Window, Building Illusion, Reversed Room, and RGB Room. Each reimagined installation now features elements that pay tribute to the city’s iconic architecture, culture, and vibrant energy.
Kim Schaefer, CEO of Museum of Illusions, emphasized the brand’s commitment to keeping the experience fresh and locally inspired. “We are constantly creating new designs and illusions to wow our guests at every turn, whether it’s for our local community or tourists, to ensure we’re keeping the mind-bending excitement our reality,” she said. “Las Vegas is rich with history, beautiful architecture and some truly iconic signs, so we’re excited to unveil several new designs that perfectly capture the heart and culture of the city.”

Here’s a look at what’s new:
- Building Illusion: Now featuring architectural nods to Downtown Las Vegas and the unmistakable “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.
- Reversed Room: Inspired by the nostalgia of Fremont Street, this room mirrors its vintage neon signs and vibrant overhead screen.
- RGB Room: The new mural here draws from nature—forest, sea, and jungle—with visuals created in collaboration with Italian art collective Carnovsky.
- Ames Window: Based on the classic illusion by Adelbert Ames, this updated version continues to trick your brain by warping depth, shape, and motion in fascinating ways.
To help beat the heat and offer more flexibility to visitors, Museum of Illusions Las Vegas will extend its hours from June 29 through July 31. During this period, the museum will be open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight, with last admission at 11 p.m. Whether you’re escaping the Strip’s chaos or looking for a fun family-friendly activity, this interactive museum promises something captivating for all ages.
