Horror fans got a glimpse of the divisive M3GAN during the Grammy Awards with a “M3GAN 2.0” teaser.
A new teaser for “M3GAN 2.0,” the sequel to the artificial intelligence killer doll Blumhouse movie with Allison Williams and Violet McGraw, has finally arrived. The killer robot made her presence known by video during the Grammy.
Fans of M3GAN were given a taste of the signature M3GAN dance. To tie in with the Grammys, M3GAN danced to the song by the Grammy-nominated Chappell Roan: “Femininomenon.” This teaser was released in coordination with some plot details about the M3GAN sequel coming out on July 27.
“M3GAN 2.0” Plot

According to a new plot description, “M3GAN 2.0” picks up two years after the first movie. Gemma is a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady, now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma’s overprotective rules.
“Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia [Ivanna Sakhno], the ultimate killer infiltration spy,” the description reads. “But as Amelia’s self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around.”
The sequel then becomes M3GAN vs. Amelia. “With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN [Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis] and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal,” the description continues. “As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match.”
Let the M3GAN for Halloween Horror Nights Rumors Grow

Based on Blumhouse’s partnership with Universal, M3GAN has participated in flash mobs and scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights. Will this sequel movie elevate her character to a higher status? This seems inevitable. This might be the year M#GAN appears in a Halloween Horror Night house. Of course, we will have to wait and see. Halloween Horror Nights leaks and official announcement should begin soon with the Orlando event starting in late August.
