Salt and Straw Disney Springs unleashes five limited-time ice cream options every month for guests to try. The January 2025 flavors arrived today.

Salt & Straw Disney Springs is across from Summer House on the Lake and opens at 10:00 a.m. Each day. Over the years, Salt & Straw has sold some unusual ice cream flavors. The January 2025 lineup sounds tame compared to some creepier options. Salt & Straw Disney Springs asks if we can start the new year in a new way with the January 2025 flavors.
Dairy-Free Decadence Series at Salt & Straw Disney Springs

Instead of creepy flavors, Salt & Straw unveiled five vegan frozen desserts to start the new year. Each month, Salt & Straw has one vegan ice cream. For January 2025, they made five limited-time versions. The January 2025 lineup looks like this:
- Bananas Foster with Candied Pecans
- Death by Chocolate Chocolate Cake
- Coconut Cake and Pineapple Jam
- Marionberry Oatmeal Cobbler
- Chocolate Caramel Corn with Candied Peanuts

Tyler Malek, Salt & Straw’s head ice cream maker, told fans that all these options were decadent. For those looking for vegan sweets and decadence, these flavors should help.
Previous Salt & Straw Disney Springs Creepy Ice Cream Options

As mentioned above, Salt & Straw has offered some creepy flavors. Most people will find the January 2025 flavors less intimidating than some notorious Salt & Straw ice cream flavors. For example, in October 2023, Salt & Straw Disney Springs sold the following creepy ice cream options:
- Don Bugito’s Creepy Crawly Critters
- Blackberry & Masa Tamale Sherbet
Though masa tamale sherbet may sound odd, the Don Bugito ice cream actually contained bugs. Of course, Salt & Straw Disney Springs has sold other ice cream featuring potato salad. For the less adventurous ice cream fans, January 2025 does not include any flavor that unusual.
Less Creepy January 2025 Flavors: We Tried One of Them

We have tried the earlier-mentioned limited-time creepy flavors. This did not stop us from trying one of this month’s limited-time ice cream options.
Bananas Foster with Candied Pecans returns for the Dairy-Free Decadent Series. We missed out on it last time so we decided to try it this year.
This vegan sweet treat works well for guests looking for a “bananas foster” taste in ice cream form. We noticed the distinct flavor during the very first bite. We ordered a single scoop, which cost $7.50. The better move is to order two scoops since the price is not much more.
We did not find ourselves wishing this ice cream was filled with dairy, negating the vegan aspect. This vegan creation satisfied our sweet tooth. The pecans complement the overall flavor without overpowering this dessert. This ice cream showed off the care and skill of the Salt & Straw operation. Yes, we had dessert for breakfast—please do not judge us!
As expected, we experienced a bit of an aftertaste from a dairy-free item as we enjoyed our ice cream more. Still, that did not lessen our positive experience.
Limited Time Options

All five of Salt & Straw Disney Springs’ monthly ice cream flavors will disappear on January 31st. They will be replaced with a new batch of limited-time options. Like the previous Holiday and Thanksgiving Series, guests should act fast to try these ice cream flavors. Guests should hurry to Disney Springs or other Salt & Straw locations if interested. For more information, please visit the Salt & Straw website. As always, eat like you mean it!
