The dog days of summer may be coming to an end, but there are still plenty of reasons to visit SeaWorld parks across the country. From some of the most exhilarating roller coasters around, unique animal habitats and experiences, and vibrant seasonal events, guests can enjoy one last blast of summer before the transition of the park into the cool relief of autumn.

“It’s a great time to make plans to celebrate the last days of summer fun with us,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. “You can’t beat the excitement that awaits you in our parks and fans are going wild for our all-new Weather or Not Assurance policy that gives them confidence knowing excessive heat, rain, and storms won’t mean they are out of luck and out of pocket. They can come back again on us!”
SeaWorld suggests some big ways to close out summer with a bang coast to coast that include:
At SeaWorld Orlando

Guests are raving about the all-new Pipeline, a first-of-its-kind roller coaster opened this year that pays tribute to the legendary surfing cultures of the world, providing riders with an experience that replicates the thrilling sensation of riding the waves. The ride features a one-of-a-kind surfboard ride vehicle and stretches over 2,950 feet of track, reaching speeds of up to 60 mph and an impressive height of 110 feet. There’s also still time left to enjoy SeaWorld’s Craft Beer Festival. The annual event features more than 100 craft brews, wines, seltzers, and cocktails, as well as more than 20 food items for pairing with brews. Craft Beer Festival continues Fridays through Sundays and Labor Day Monday through Sept. 4. You can view VacationeerTom and @pastorjonself trying many items at the SeaWorld Orlando Craft Beer Festival below
Finally, the summer season officially ends with a bang on Labor Day during Ignite Fireworks, a dazzling pyrotechnic display to cap off the season and the day at SeaWorld on Monday, Sept. 4.
At SeaWorld San Diego
The all-new 2023 family-friendly coaster Arctic Rescue continues to draw fans as the fastest and longest straddle coaster on the West Coast with three exhilarating launches. Adrenaline junkies can hop on a snowmobile and launch at up to 40 mph on a chilly adventure as they race through the unpredictable arctic climate to help animals in danger. The West Coast park also offers its version of the Craft Beer Festival with over 100 craft brews and tasty bites. The fun is brewing Fridays through Sundays through Sept. 10, plus Labor Day Monday. There’s also nothing like seeing the sky above SeaWorld light up with festive colors and brilliant pyrotechnics, and Labor Day weekend, Friday through Sunday plus Labor Day, the skies come alive with vibrant color and celebratory music for the final weekend of summer fireworks.
At SeaWorld San Antonio
Big thrills remain on tap at the exciting celebration of brews at SeaWorld San Antonio. Bier Fest is where guests can sample and explore local and global beers and enjoy awesome pub food favorites. From bold hops to coaster drops, and animal encounters to refreshing lagers, the party is brewing one last weekend as well as Labor Day, September 4. Incredible animal encounters also continue year-round at SeaWorld San Antonio. Guests can don wetsuits and slip into the watery world of sea lions, dolphins, and beluga whales as they learn about each of these animals in their individual species interactions. For those who prefer to stay dry, penguin and tortoise tours allow intriguing minds the chance to come face to face with these fascinating and mysterious creatures.
VacationeerTom made a recent trip to SeaWorld San Diego. He rode Steel Eel there. We placed a point of view video below from that day.
